ZANU PF has enlisted the services of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s office to resolve a dispute in Midlands Province between Zvishavane land barons and a local housing cooperative over residential stands.
The development follows a letter written to the Zanu PF Midlands provincial chairperson Daniel Mackenzie Ncube, pictured, by the ruling partyñs national secretary for legal affairs Paul Mangwana last month calling on him to intervene in the land ownership case pitting members of the Simon Vengai Mudenda Housing Cooperative and some land barons in Zvishavane.
Mackenzie Ncube told the Daily News yesterday that he had since sent teams on the ground to investigate. “We are currently working on the request by the legal secretary after he wrote to me.”
