How to update the GB new version without losing your group’s chats?
It’s not easy to return your old chats when your WhatsApp is already expired, here I would like to teach you how to return your group chats and everything as it was before.
Simply follow Mkoma Jola’s steps below.
Go on the phone settings turn off (Automatic Date & Time) and change your date and time to the last month.
Turn on the Airplane Mode and reboot your device.
Open your GB WhatsApp, now it should be opening because you have disturbed the date and time.
On your old GB WhatsApp, tap the 3 dots on the upper right side of your screen, and select settings, then select chats, then select backup chats and the GB WhatsApp will start backing up your chats.
Now, download the new version of GB WhatsApp from the original site. To do so remove your device from Airplane Mode, and open the data or WiFi to get access to download the new version of GB WhatsApp using the one that is already expired.
After that, uninstall the old GB WhatsApp because the new version update failed to exist to the one that is on your phone.
You can now install that new GB WhatsApp which you have downloaded directly from your device.
Just simply hit at once only, and see the procedure going ahead without that message you were seeing (app not installed).
If you have another WhatsApp that is not the GB WhatsApp but you want to shift your chats to the new version of GB WhatsApp, you need to open your device’s file manager and then go to the storage device. Search the folder written FM WhatsApp if is the one which you were using before and rename it from FMWhatsApp to GBWhatsApp.
