Lungu said his party is consulting on the way forward.
“We have told the Zambian Electoral Commission to stop counting the votes, but they are continuing to announce the results of the election, Therefore, we are taking steps,” Zambian President Edgar Lungu, has said.
“Right now, some of our representatives and supporters have gone into hiding because of the activities of these criminals,” he said. It means that these elections were not free and fair because some of our people were murdered and many others hid after being brutally tortured. Is that democracy? He said.
