Simply follow Mkoma Jola’s steps below.
Open your old GB WhatsApp, tap the 3 dots on the upper right side of your screen, and select settings, then select chats then select backup chats and the GB WhatsApp will start backing up your chats.
Now, download the original GB WhatsApp from the original WhatsApp groups for Mkoma Jola.
Uninstall the old GB WhatsApp. Do not clear the data after uninstalling the old GB WhatsApp.
You can now install that new GB WhatsApp which you have downloaded from Jola’s WhatsApp groups.
If you have another WhatsApp that is not the GB WhatsApp but you want to shift to the original GB WhatsApp, you need to open your device’s file manager and then go to the storage device. Search the folder written FM WhatsApp if is the one which you were using before and rename it from FM WhatsApp to GB WhatsApp.
Now you have renamed the folder, go and open GB WhatsApp for the first time it will prompt you to place your phone number, put your phone number, click the button to go and the verification code process will run, after the verification code is done you will see the next step asking you whether you want to skip the buck up or you want to back up and then choose to restore your back up.
