The Zambian Electoral Commission has just declared the opposition party leader Hakainde Hichilema as the winner and he will be sworn president of Zambia in the next few days.
Hakainde Hichilema has been elected the 7th President of Zambia, beating the incumbent Edgar Lungu.
This is despite the results of Mandevu Constituency being awaited, which won’t change anything.
