Here comes another cricket young star from the ghetto Chitungwiza Tafadzwa Jeremiah Makanya an 18-year-old boy who recently left Zimbabwe 2 months ago just after finishing his O level at Prince Edward school.
His bid to chase his dreams in Pakistan where he was offered a scholarship by one of the best cricket academy in the world of cricket called Pak Lions international cricket academy and this academy have produced so many players that are playing international and First-class cricket and seems like Jeremiah has been the main topic into the academy since he arrived there.
He has been doing good more than expected by the Coaches and staff and he is quickly adapting to everything as the coaches were working on his fitness and he is getting better day by day and they are saying if he continues working at this rate he is gonna be one of the good players in the world of cricket.
Jeremiah has played around 8 games for the academy and he managed to score 5 half-centuries and he managed to take some wickets though we didn’t get the actual number this is a good sign the coaches said because he is new to the conditions and he is already helping the team to win games.
If we give him 2 more months he is gonna be a good all-rounder. The Makanya boy recently had an interview with one of the best broadcasting companies in Pakistan called Pakistan social with over 30000 followers where he was asked if you get a chance to play for Pakistan would you say yes and he said “yes.
“I will be grateful for this chance and I would love to play for a good team like Pakistan but though I got my country at heart too because I came all this way so that I can be a better player and represent my country and help my country to win games.”
